Update 1.39 Release Notes

Titans!

Dawn of Titans’ new update – 1.39 – is gradually being released to all players, and will soon be available for all to download on Android and iOS. 

Here’s what you can expect:

20 NEW PVP MAPS

We have implemented 20 new PvP maps for Plinths Level 21-25. This will increase the variety of battles at these higher levels.

  • 10 VP maps
  • 5 Gold maps
  • 5 Farm maps

7 NEW THEATERS OF WAR MAPS

We have designed seven new maps specifically for Theaters of War Events. Each of the seven maps has multiple variants (based on each Element) with different environments and Troops.

NEW AVATARS

We have added eight new Titan Portraits as additional avatars. These include Zeus, Poseidon, Athena, Odin, Thor, Loki, Runa and Valwen.

NEW LOADING SCREENS

We have updated the loading screens with more recent and fan-favourite Titans!

NEW DAILY CALENDAR REWARDS

In 1.39, a new monthly-rolling login calendar will be available, with better rewards, and a new All Element Titan Token. This token can be redeemed at the ALL ELEMENT TITAN altar from within the Temple. This altar guarantees a 4* Titan with each use (please note: new players, and those returning to Dawn of Titans after a significant hiatus, may be presented with different calendars).

NEW TITAN PANTHEON COLLECTIONS

We’ve added 5 new Titan Pantheon Collections with the 1.39 update. 

Each Collection has 3 Tiers: 

  • To complete Tier 1, you must own each Titan
  • To complete Tier 2, each Titan must be Level 20 or higher
  • To complete Tier 3, each Titan must be Level 40 or higher

The rewards for each Collection are shown below:

NEW DIVINE TITANS

The wait is almost over – two new Divine Titans are coming to the Divine Shrine – NEPHELINIS and GROTHURN. These Titans have powerful, dynamic abilities that can turn the tide of battle, even in the most dire circumstances.  Look out for a follow-up blog post with more details on these mysterious Titans and when they will be available in-game.

NEW DIVINE 5* RELICS

New 5* Divine Relics will be added into the Divine Shrine sometime after the full 1.39 launch. Additional information on these Relics’ effects will be provided closer to their launch.

SPELL CRAFTING TIME, UPGRADE COST AND UPGRADE TIME

We have implemented multiple changes for Spell crafting and upgrading.

Spell Crafting time has been reduced. All Spells will have the following crafting times in 1.39:

Spell Upgrade Cost (Food) and Upgrade Timers have been reduced between ~25% (for higher level Spells) and ~50% (for lower level Spells). 

TROOP TRAINING TIME, UPGRADE COST AND UPGRADE TIME

Training time for all Troops has been reduced. Training time has been reduced between 30-40% (depending on Troop).

Troop Upgrade Cost (Food) and Upgrade Timers have been reduced between ~25% (for higher level Troops) and ~50% (for lower level Troops).

GOLD AND FOOD

Gold Mines and Farms will now produce more Gold and Food for Castle Levels 1-19. 

In addition, each Gold Vault and Granary will now store 25% more Gold and Food (Castle Levels 1-25). This value is even greater for lower Castle Levels.

Each Gold and Food treasury will now protect 25% more Gold and Food (Castle Levels 1-25). This value is even greater for lower Castle Levels.

TUTORIAL AND NEW-PLAYER IMPROVEMENTS

A streamlined tutorial and new player experience has been implemented into 1.39. These changes will help the increasing number of new players integrate into Alliances, the League game and Events.

ARENAS, MONUMENTS AND ADVENTURER’S GUILD

Several adjustments have been made to Titan Arenas, Titan Monuments and the Adventurer’s Guild.

Titan Arenas now grant more Titan and Player XP:

Titan Monuments will now always drop 3 Battle Drops. The Battle Drops for Titan Monuments have also been updated and improved.

In addition, Titan Monuments will now grant more Titan and Player XP:

Faction Adventures (weekly rotating Campaigns in the Adventurer’s Guild) now grant more Titan XP:

NEW TITANS

As the War Gods reach the end of their era, a new assembly of Titans with unique INVOKE effects will descend on the Shattered Kingdoms. These Titans have lain dormant across the realm since before the earth was shattered, but their return is now imminent. NEW APP ICON

We’ve updated the store page for Dawn of Titans with new icons, promotional art and descriptions to better represent the game in 2020.
