A new Collection Relic will soon make its way into the pantheon in anticipation of the Halloween season. Final skills are undergoing finishing touches and will be confirmed soon.

We have recently updated Nexus with the following changes:

• Prestige 7 and Prestige 10 will now trigger when a Corrupted Titan is summoned, rather than on Corrupted Titan death
• The radius for each Corrupted Titan has been increased by 60%
• Fixed issue – not every Corrupted Titan was receiving additional Void Damage

ALLIANCE WAR – Armageddon – The Nexus

STARTS: 23rd September, 15:00 UTC

ENDS: 28th September, 09:00 UTC

(Ending on Tuesday instead of Monday, providing a full 5 days to complete the event!)

The Nexus emerged on the horizon riding a cloud of shadow and death. As the armies formed their battle lines, the Gods nervously grasped their weapons waiting for Gaia’s signal. 

Growing impatient, and seeking to claim the glory for himself, Thor flung himself first at the foe. Weaving a cloak of lightning he charged into the clouds, thunder cracking with each heavy step.

Meeting eyes briefly with Gaia, Zeus joined his comrade in the clouds. Together the brothers of the storm weaved together a mighty force of lightning, calling upon all the power they could muster. Unleashing this force upon the Nexus the world flashed, and then there was stillness. Seconds later, no Thunder clapped. Instead, before the Nexus stood Zabava, her body ablaze with Gods’ lightning.

Spinning the energy into two great whips, Zabava brought down the Storm Gods to the feet of Nexus, who passed a hand over them. 

‘Rise, my servants’ Nexus incanted 

 Eyes glowing with corrupted malice, Zeus and Thor stepped in beside the Generals of Nexus’ forces.

‘FATHER!’ Ares cried as he rushed forward. With that Gaia gave the signal, and the Gods charged.

As his allies engaged, Korthan made one final pass of his battle lines. ‘Men of the Shattered Kingdoms! Go now into battle alongside your immortal brethren. Fight hard, and emerge either in victory, or raised up once again in the immortal realm!’

On the 7th day of battle, Ares and Korthan found themselves back to back slaying waves of horde. Spotting them, Necromancer wheeled around his greatest Bok’rug, standing on its back casting spells down at the soldiers in his way. 

‘Korthan, take this.’ Ares grunted as he threw his shield. Understanding, Korthan knelt and held the shield above his head. The War God then leaped, rebounding off the bronze aegis to the top of the Bok’rug – tackling Necromancer, and bringing him to the ground. There, in the heat of battle, Necromancer would battle the War God and the King of Men. While both sides suffered grievous wounds it was Necromancer who felt the tide shifting against him. That was when he pulled from his robes an enchanted golden pocket watch.

With Sempiternity in hand, Necromancer brought down upon them the eyes of Nexus. 

Watching the corrupted being float across the battlefield, Beowulf fought his way to his allies, knowing that Korthan and Ares could not stand against Nexus alone.

There, in the nucleus of battle Ares unleashed his greatest might, swinging his sword until it withered away into a stump – going on to slay a Bok’Rug with his bare hands.

When Beowulf arrived, Ares and Korthan stood above Necromancer, and claimed from him the timepiece. Only then bringing upon themselves the full wrath of Nexus. Turning to Beowulf, Korthan threw the timepiece. 

‘Go!’ He cried. ‘Flee for the hills, we shall hold this foul creature, but only for a time’

Fighting back a tear, and swallowing his reluctance, Beowulf fled. On this day, the forces of good would suffer a crushing defeat. With the timepiece, however, even Beowulf began to understand the passing of time was not fixed and hope still remained.

*Nexus’ spell casting time is reduced by 70% on Defense*

*All Titan buffs will also affect the Corrupted Titans*

Corrupted Titans

Nexus has the ability to summon possessed Corrupted Titans with immense power and bring destruction upon the enemy.

• 80% the Health and Damage of their original forms
• Armor = 300%
• Armor Piercing = 300%
• All Elemental Resist = 30%
• Critical = 20%

On Defense Relic

Compete in the Time and Place Event (live now) to earn the Singularity Relic. This Relic will alter Nexus’ 2x Attack stats to work on Defense, alongside summoning 3x Bok’rugs on Defense.

SOLO WAR – Time and Place – Singularity

STARTS: 20th September, 15:00 UTC

Heracles wandered through the blackened hallways for what seemed like centuries. Staircases changed direction, and doors recoiled as he reached out his hand to touch them. In the darkness he continued onwards, the runes of Excalibur his only light.

Turning a corner it came into view, a cosmic hourglass upon an altar glowing gently in the pitch black chamber. Heracles did not direct himself to touch it, but his arms moved nonetheless, and his fingers stretched around the relic.

In that moment, the Singularity racked Heracles’ mind as he fell to the ground, and visions of time flashed before his eyes. Frozen in place, every moment played for him; the clash of Korthan and Almarand’s swords, putting into motion a symphony of violence and war. The Gods of Olympus, Asgard, and the Egyptian realms all weaving their own melodies into the song of the Shattered Kingdoms. The visions crescendoed as Heracles watched the fall of the Archmage tower, and the arrival of the primordial powers, with a final vision focusing on his own passage through the portal into the Nexus realm.

Returning back to the darkened chamber, Heracles sensed he was not alone. Whipping around, Excalibur in hand, the darkness of the room betrayed nothing but the glowing of two corrupted eyes. The shape shifted in the room, spinning Heracles on an axis, with a subtle laughter that filled his ears. 

‘Welcome, son of Olympus. You have performed your part exceptionally.’ A voice whispered. Heracles looked back to the hourglass, when time slowed to a crawl and the final drop passed from the top bulb to the bottom.

With that, the figure emerged. Heracles recognised him from the vision, but he did not have time to think. Almarand lunged with a downward strike of his corrupted sword, to which Heracles raised Excalibur. The swords of the cataclysm joined each other once again, and the chamber flashed in white light.

Heracles awoke on a plinth in the Shattered Kingdoms. Opening his eyes to the sky he realised what he had done. The veil of the realms had been sundered, and the servants of darkness poured into the world as the prophecy foretold.

This relic promises to be a mighty strategic asset for players hoping to claim mastery of the Nexus.

More details around the Armageddon event (Thursday 23rd of September) will be shared in a blog post early next week.

ALLIANCE WAR – The Thirteenth Labor – Heracles

STARTS: 2nd September, 15:00 UTC

ENDS: 6th September, 09:00 UTC

While the battle had fallen silent for several days, the earth of the battlefield continued to smoulder and fill the air with the foul stench of death. Everdure cautiously stepped over the fallen as he approached the nucleus of the site. There, in a pile of charred bone and steel, Everdure picked up the Divine Geode.

‘So, it was left here after all…’ Everdure mused. ‘The path forward is clear. We must call a great council’

Previously sworn rivals, the call of the council was great enough to summon leaders from every faction, from Asgard and Egypt to the Ragnar and Mossmane tribes. Seated at the great Roundtable of Zalon, Everdure explained that with the Geode he would have the power to open a portal into the realm of the Nexus, where one hero could venture through and end the threat once and for all.

Erupting in shouts and exclamations, every faction desired to claim this honour for themselves. Even Korthan, the King of the Human kingdoms, declared that the honour should fall to him. For it was his sword, Excalibur, that clashed with Almarand’s and started the cataclysm and set the Nexus energies loose upon the Shattered Kingdoms.

‘SILENCE’ Everdure cried. ‘While your enthusiasm is welcomed, my Lords and Ladies, I fear that our choice is somewhat pre-determined.’ 

Everdure went on to explain that the Nexus energies on the other side of the portal were too powerful for any human to withstand. Any hero who ventured through would likely meet the same fate as Almarand, and end up a puppet of the Nexus. On the other hand, Everdure’s power even with the Divine Geode was not strong enough to send through a God of Olympus or Asgard without risk of alerting the Nexus forces. 

‘This peril will require a very special type of hero, someone who can pass through the portal, but will not succumb to the vile will of the Nexus’ Everdure warned

With that, Gaia stood up and motioned to Heracles who stepped forward and knelt before the all-mother.

‘It falls upon you, my child. Not fully a God, or fully a man – your spirit will be able to withstand the corruption and you may venture where we cannot.’ Gaia whispered. ‘Rise, HERACLES, and venture forth. Our fate rests in your hands’

‘Aye.’ Korthan joined ‘Here, my lad, take this sword. It’s history is great, but it’s power is greater. There is no hero more worthy to wield it than you.’

With that the council erupted in a roar of cheers. Heracles gripped Excalibur, looked to Everdure, and nodded that he was ready.

Heracles, reborn as a mighty 4★ Paladin, makes his debut to the Shattered Kingdoms this Thursday 2nd of September.

Knossos Bulls

Heracles, Demigod and Champion of Olympus, unleashes the raging Knossos Bulls and seeks to restore Peace to the Shattered Kingdoms by any means necessary.

THE IMMORTAL GAME:

The Nexus studied the board patiently. Steadily, the pawns of the opposing forces inched towards each other vying for control of the battlefield. 

With precise timing, they moved the bishop into place. A portal opened up between the dimensions, and the sounds of battle could be heard echoing on the other side.

‘The time has come, Master! May your corruption embrace this land and feed upon the souls of those who stand in our way!’ Necromancer screamed as the portal’s energy grew more chaotic.

Patiently, they leaned back from the altar as a Solar arrow came rocketing through the portal, colliding with the ethereal board. 

The board shattered, and pieces scattered in an explosion of contrasting energies. Hyperion’s solar energy colliding with the portal caused the portal to vanish, along with 6 predestined pieces which slipped through the temporary veil.

The Nexus looked at the Cosmic Hourglass which sat on the altar, only a few drops remained to fall. Even a being as supreme as Hyperion could not hope to comprehend that he too, was but a pawn in the plan which continued to unfold.

These immensely powerful 5* relics will be available at altars in the Divine Shrine for 9,000 Divine Gems.

Like the Arthropods, these will be available in stand-alone altars for each relic.

SPPs can expect to receive these relics early next week, with a full release to follow soon after.
